Silymarin, has been widely researched and it how it supports our dogs' liver. The Journal of Veterinary Pharmacology and Therapeutics found that silymarin may effectively treat liver dysfunction. BMC Research has also found that the silymarin in milk thistle seeds has hepatoprotective (the ability of a substance to prevent liver damage) properties. And, research on milk thistle seeds has also been found to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory actions.

Instructions: Mix into pet's food daily. Intermittent or supplemental feeding only. 

Dog Dosage: Less than 30lbs = 1/2tsp. Between 31 to 80lbs = 1tsp. More than 81lbs = 11/2tsp.

Cat Dosage: Occasional and in moderation. ⅛tsp per 25lbs of bodyweight twice per day. Not for long term use.
